Welcome
I’m going to assume that most everyone visiting hasn’t met me so I am going to take a minute to introduce myself and the purpose of this blog.
My name is Jacob and I am a life long Texan. I grew up in the outdoors and have developed a passion for it over the years. I currently live on the lower Texas Coast so I spend a majority of my time fishing and boating these waters. Though I do try and get out to other regions of the state to experience what they have to offer as well. I’m always looking for suggestions on where to go next, lakes to fish, places to camp and public lands to hunt. So feel free to reach out with suggestions, I’d love to hear from you!
The purpose of this blog is to document and share some of my experiences and things I have found along the way. I also hope to provide commentary and my personal prospective on different issues that are affecting the Texas Outdoors. In general posts will go from very broad topics such as hunting, fishing and camping to more specific topics within those such as bow hunting, fly fishing and backcountry camping.
Thanks for taking the time check this out and I hope you find something to enjoy as I work to put out more content.
